WS2818B Pixel Protocol
A single-wire, individually addressable RGB LED protocol with integrated IC, 8-bit color per channel, and dual-signal redundancy for uninterrupted operation.
Overview
WS2818B is designed for 12V applications, allowing longer cable runs with less voltage drop. It supports 24-bit color, a 2000Hz PWM rate (up to 67fps filming), and break-point continuous transmission. The SOP8 package provides flexibility in LED choice, making WS2818B suitable for large, reliable lighting displays where robust signal continuity is essential.
